On
behalf of the Vestry Members and parishioners of
The Anglican Church of The Epiphany, welcome and God Bless.
On Sunday 23 April, 1989,
the 5th Sunday of Easter and the Feast of St. George The Martyr, The
Anglican Church of The Epiphany began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist by Father Delano
Archer on the porch of number 13, Nassau East. This first service
marked with the attendance of twenty-eight (28) persons comprising family
members, neighbours and well wishers of Father and Mrs. Delano Archer. It is interesting to note that the title for the sermon of the first service,
preached by Fr. Archer, was "Venturing out in Faith".
This symbolic sermon encapsulated the very thing upon which Epiphany was built and is now embodied in our mission statement:
"One
Family striving in faith and love through commitment to manifest Jesus
Christ".
We, at Epiphany,
are pleased to welcome our brothers and sisters from other parishes
and other communities of faith. It is always a blessing to the world
around us when the People of God worship Him in peace and harmony. May
God bless you this day and always. We look forward to your visit at
our Parish: Prince Charles Drive & Elizabeth Estates.
